Four's- PreSchool Program
Our 4-year old PreSchool program incorporates our Creative Curriculum Continuum. Each lesson plan follows a theme which includes activities in areas of art, music, stories, finger-plays, science, fine and large motor skill activities.
It is our goal that by the time the children leave our PreSchool program, they will have met objectives in all four areas of development including:
Cognitive Increase vocabulary and verbalize feelings and ideas Recognize numbers 1-10 Recite the alphabet and recognize letters Know basic colors and shapes Know full name and recognize written names
Physical Learn positive health and hygiene procedures Climb up and down stairs Hop, jump and throw a ball
Social/Emotional Solve conflicts with adult assistance Refrain from acting out in physical ways Care for personal belongings of self and others Ability to use toilet independently Dress self with socks, shoes and coat
Creative Become comfortable using art materials Role-play in dramatic play settings Self-expression through active movement
Activities Include:
