Young 3's

Our Young 3 year old room serves as a transition between our 2's and 3's rooms.  Through positive reinforcement and encouragement, the children in the young three year old room are guided through potty training and self care.   Here children are learning to recognize first names and phonemic awareness is greatly emphasized.

Children learn to be more independent and get dressed on their own.  Computer play introduced.

Activities Include:

• Puzzles & Games

• More advanced with numbers and letters

• Weekly Themed Lesson Plans

• Sensory Activities by exploring texture, color, patterns, shapes and taste

• Daily Activity Sheets given to parent at pick up

• Naps

• Field Trips

• Story time & Computer time

• Finger plays

• Daily Art Activities

• Low Teacher/Child Ratio

• Outdoor play (weather permitting)
